Hello! My name is Sam Khomamizadeh. I am an Iranian-American art student based in San Diego, currently studying animation at California State University, Long Beach. I've always found myself primarily interested in story-driven work and unique, stylized animation. I am interested in all aspects of what goes into an animated project, but storyboarding would have to be my favorite.

Born to immigrant parents, I was raised in San Diego, California, and the vast, multicultural environment around me has inspired a lot of my work. Growing up on cartoons and video games, I quickly discovered that I knew I'd want to work in animation when I became an adult. As a prospective storyboard artist and producer, I'm excited to tell and share my own stories and use my work to replicate the same feeling for others that I once felt as a child.
